Due to the dry Colorado climate a tanning lotion will improve your tanning experience. There are several types of "Indoor" tanning lotions. So that you may better understand the purpose of our lotions, here's a brief description:
Step I - Accelerator
An accelerator will help you start your base tan.
Step 2 - Maximizer A maximizer will get you past your tanning plateau where you fell like you're not getting any more color.
Bronzers The bronzing activators will give you an exceptional tan and propel color beyond its limit. The bronzer will add color to your skin providing you with immediate results. There are two different types of bronzers:
Cosmetic Bronzer: This is a bronzer that acts much like a make-up, giving you immediate color once applied, allowing your natural tan to develop over the next few hours. The bronzer will ultimately wash off.
DHA Bronzer: DHA is a colorless chemical that is found in self-tanners. DHA is also found in many indoor tanning lotions. DHA, when applied to your skin will start to turn your skin brown in about 2-3 hours.
Both types of bronzers are very effective in helping you achieve your best looking tan.
Tingle Lotions A tingle lotion will stimulate blood circulation and improve the oxygenation of your skin cells. This will increase the level of oxygen flow and increase your tan. It will give you a tingle feeling in the bed and make you feel hot. It will also make you red.
Cooling Lotions Feel a cooling sensation while enjoying the results of a deeper darker tan. The silky rich feel of the lotions brings the coolness of a brisk mountain breeze.
Tan Extenders Extend your tanning results - apply to your skin daily to moisturize, enhance and prolong your tanning results. Dark Tan Extenders should be used daily by both Step1 and Step 2 indoor tanners. |
